FPC PN Solar Water Heater

The FPC collector is made up of a flat, dark-colored absorber plate that is covered in glazing or a transparent cover. The absorber plate's purpose is to capture solar energy and transform it into heat. The glazing minimises heat loss from the collector while permitting sunshine to penetrate through. To further limit heat loss, an insulating material is often used to cover the space between the absorber plate and the glass.

When sunlight hits the absorber plate, it heats up and transfers the heat to a fluid running through tubes or channels imbedded in the plate (often water or a water/antifreeze mixture). The heated fluid is then transported to the storage tank by the circulation system, where it is kept for subsequent use.

FPC solar water heaters are suitable for a range of uses, including domestic, industrial, and commercial ones. They are dependable, have a relatively simple design, and have been in use for a long time. However, the quality of the collector, how it is angled and oriented in relation to the sun, and how much sunlight is present at a given place can all affect how effective they are.
